Due to considerable expansion of their Swindon operation, and following recent work to improve the current pallet racking, 4K Systems were recently asked by David Hathaway Transport to consider how best to use available floor space.
Our proposal has added 1,000 additional pallet locations, with the costs also kept to a minimum by using high quality refurbished pallet racking. This saved considerable cost and reduced lead times.
The family-run transport business has been pounding the motorways for over 35 years and is very proud of its investment in technology and infrastructure, including the modern pallet storage warehouse. The narrow-aisle racking at their Bristol warehouse can be configured to individual customers requirements depending on specific pallet heights. The site also utilises innovative Hyster and Bendi forklifts provided by 4K and is situated close to all of the major road links in the South West.
