Walk Behind Powered Pallet Trucks

As the name suggests, these trucks allow an operator to walk behind them whilst being operated. Actually, the correct term should be walk in front of if you’re operating these trucks correctly.

These trucks are ideal for use if you are transporting light to medium loads – anything up to 2.0 tonnes in this case. Because your operator has to walk with these pallet trucks, it is not advised to use them for travelling across long distances.

Walk behind trucks are also best suited to applications where goods are being loaded and unloaded from the truck frequently.

Ride-On Platform Powered Pallet Trucks

Ride on platform powered pallet trucks feature a fold down operator platform that the operator stands on while driving the truck.

If you are transporting goods over longer distances, these trucks could be the right choice for you, as there is no need for walking as with the walk behind powered pallet trucks.

This also makes these trucks more productive as you can move loads more quickly.

An additional advantage to the rider platform machines is that you can use them as a walk behind or with the rider platform, providing you with more versatility dependent on what is required for the particular job you are undertaking.

Combi-CS
