We employed 4K Systems and Dave Scammell to fit out our new £1.2m, 11,000 sq ft Production and distribution centre in Gloucester. We were introduced to 4K Systems in 2010 when we were looking for a new supplier for our Rental Fleet. David’s proposal reduced our fleet size by 20% lowering our monthly rental charges by 40% along with introducing a shared operating hours pool across the fleet which resulted in zero excess hours charges. We then decided to expand in 2013, and again David was there to give us cost saving advice on what trucks to run and explained the benefits for us if we switched from Diesel to Electric trucks.

Dave worked with the management team throughout the project proposing different options for the racking layout and then working through, with the team, which was the most appropriate solution. During the installation he liaised with the building contractors to ensure the work was co-ordinated and successfully completed on time.

We had 3 different companies quoting a solution for us but it was 4K systems to whom we award the contract. A big part of our decision to proceed with 4K was due to the proactive nature of their approach. always ready to put forward ideas to resolve every issue, from the ones that could affect the success of the project to even the smallest of details.
